Comfort and wellbeing during breastfeeding are not just secondary aspects, but key elements in fostering a positive and serene bond between mother and baby. A recent study conducted by Sfera MediaGroup for Inglesina highlighted how relevant and deeply felt these issues are among Italian and Spanish mothers. The survey, carried out on a sample of 2,259 mothers with children aged 0 to 18 months in Italy and Spain, revealed significant findings: 80% of the women interviewed reported physical discomfort related to posture and lack of comfort during breastfeeding. Even more striking is that one in four mothers considered stopping breastfeeding due to pain or physical discomfort. These results clearly underline the urgency of designing solutions that truly address mothers’ real needs, offering them tangible support throughout their breastfeeding journey.
